Privacy policy

Green Light Solutions is a DBA of Hungerford Distribution LLC (“Green Light,” “we,” “us”). We create and publish social media promotions for local businesses (“clients”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how to have it deleted.
Information we collect

We do not collect information from visitors to this website beyond what your browser sends to load the page. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use information
- To create promotions and check captions against the client’s business profile.
- To send posts and paid boost plans to the client for approval.
- To publish approved posts to the client’s connected Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and TikTok accounts.
- To place paid boosts the client has approved, charged to the client’s own ad account.
- To report results to the client and send alerts about approvals and publishing.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use client data to advertise anything other than the client’s own business.
Data from Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
When a client connects a Facebook Page, Instagram account or ad account, we receive only the permissions the client grants. We use that access only to publish content the client has approved, place boosts the client has approved, and read the results of those posts and boosts. We do not use Meta data for any other purpose, and we do not transfer it to data brokers or advertising networks. The client can remove our access at any time in Facebook settings under Business Integrations, or in Meta Business Suite.
Who we share information with
We use these service providers to run Green Light. Each receives only what it needs to do its part:
- Google (Workspace, Drive, Sheets, Gmail and Apps Script) to store records and media and to send email.
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram and Threads) and TikTok to publish posts and boosts to the client’s accounts.
- Anthropic to help draft captions from the promotion details.
- Twilio, if text alerts are turned on, to send text messages.
- Cloudflare to host this website.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep information
We keep client information while we work with the client. When the relationship ends, or when a deletion request is received, we delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law. Posts already published remain on the client’s own social accounts until the client removes them.
Deleting your data
To have your information deleted, email [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request” and the business name or Facebook account involved. We will confirm by email once your data has been deleted, within 30 days.
You can also remove Green Light’s access to Facebook yourself: open Facebook, go to Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Business Integrations, and remove Green Light Solutions. Removing access stops all posting and data collection right away.
Security
Access tokens and client records are stored in access-controlled Google accounts and are not shown on web pages. Approval links are unique to each client.
Children
Green Light is a service for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and let clients know by email.
